Key Objectives: Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance related to Legionella control, including: - Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 - COSHH Regulations 2002 - HSE ACOP L8 - HSG274 Parts 1–3 Primary Responsibilities: - Oversee the management and control of Legionella risks across all water systems. - Implement and maintain written schemes of control and ensure they are followed. - Monitor water temperatures, conduct sampling, flushing, and inspections. - Maintain accurate and auditable records of all compliance activities. - Ensure timely completion of remedial actions and escalate any non-compliance. - Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure service delivery. - Delivery of small water projects up to a value of £8k.
