Job description

As an Electrical Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for building electrical wire harnesses, which are bundles of wires, cables, and connectors that are used to transmit electrical signals and power to various components in our heavy equipment machines. To be successful in this role, you will be required to read and understand wiring diagrams and engineering drawings; have a mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail and good eye-hand coordination. Location: 40 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON Dedicated Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday Job Duties: - Read and thoroughly understand detailed electrical wiring diagrams and work instructions, cross referencing parts lists to ensure meticulous assembly - Utilize a routing board to lay out and organize wires and ensure they are in the correct position for crimping and connecting - Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, and wiring. - Route, crimp, and solder wires, as well as assemble and install other components - Complete numerous hand assembly operations with the use of hand and small power tools, crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers - Inspect electronic components and assemblies to e...
