Job Description: Position Summary Under the leadership of the Administrative Director and Assistant Director, the Clinical Nurse Supervisor assists with planning, supervising, assessing, and providing supervisory oversight in accordance with the hospital and department policies and procedures. This role includes staying informed and actively participating in productivity, quality outcome measures, patient experience, and employee performance. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor ensures that department staff work within the scope of practice as defined by the applicable licensing bodies. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor under the leadership of the Assistant Director is responsible and accountable for supervising the daily operations related to Acute Psychiatric Services which includes supporting the care of psychiatric patients of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults through the care continuum of psychiatric clinical programs including but not limited to inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric consultation, and psychiatric observation.
