Description Employment Status: Part-Time: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly): Schedule: 12 pm - 6pm: Reports to: Pastor: Benefits may include: - Paid Holidays/Holy Days (vary by location) - 403b Retirement - Employee Assistance Program Position Summary: The Custodian/ Janitorial Worker will be responsible for the care, cleanliness and maintenance of the parish facilities and grounds. This position will also require the individual to be knowledgeable of all cleaning equipment and chemicals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Clean and care for assigned areas including dusting, and polishing of furniture, equipment and other fixtures - Sanitize pews, chairs, and kneelers - Clean all building floors (sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming) - Polish, seal, and strip floors - Clean all windows, glass partitions, and mirrors - Clean and resupply restrooms - Gather and empty trash bins - Check grounds for litter/garbage and unsafe conditions - Lift and carry supplies, equipment, deliveries etc. weighing up to 30 lbs. - Set-up rooms for meetings and timeframe requested (moving tables, chairs, microphone, chalk boards, etc.) - Stock and maintain all custodial supplies and equipment in a cost-...
