As a Sr. Cook, you'll be responsible for menu development and play a vital role in the preparation and execution of hot and cold meals in our restaurants, room service, and grab & go markets. Plus, you'll train and supervise our food prep staff to help them develop their skills and advance their careers. Essential Functions: Assumes total responsibility for all food production in absence of the Supervisor. Organizes and directs the preparation of complex recipes. Assists in planning and documenting menus for all areas of the Nutrition Services department. Ensures daily production schedule is completed and adhered to. Assists in training, orientation and evaluation of employees. Prepares purchase order for the buyer, as appropriate. Develops new recipes.
