TITLE: Assistant Director of Human Resources (Learning and Development) CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CLASS: Under the general direction of the Director of Human Resources, provides day-to-day leadership and operational management for the Learning and Development team and the District’s centralized training and professional development programs. Leads planning, implementation, tracking, evaluation, and continuous improvement for Districtwide training initiatives, including the District’s learning management system. Works with internal stakeholders and external partners to support workforce readiness, employee development, and retention. Performs related duties as required. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: - Leads and supervises staff with responsibilities focused on professional development and training, including but not limited to workshop and conference development, implementation, and evaluation; survey design; data collection; resource materials; internal communications; internship programs; academic partnerships with colleges and universities; and employee engagement - Manages and coordinates staff responsible for conferences and workshops that provide employees throughout the District opportuni...
