Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the organization, the position supports Medical Imaging Teams throughout Vancouver Coastal Health that requires regular travel between all sites including rural sites. Works in a team-based environment and is accountable for the development, implementation and maintenance of practice standards for a designated modality (i.e. Computed Tomography, General Procedures, Diagnostic Mammography, Angiography/Interventional, Radiography or Polytomography) within VCH Medical Imaging Services for all MI sites. Provides regional leadership, direction and guidance on practice activities and advancing practice, research and education by reviewing and implementing consistent practice standards and goals and objectives in conjunction with designated management and other team members.
