Sr. Director, Human Resources

H.W. Kaufman Group is seeking a Sr. Director, Human Resources to support and execute HR strategy across a complex, multi-location insurance organization and directly lead a team of approximately 5 HR Business Partners, providing leadership, coaching and alignment across geographically dispersed offices to foster a high-performance, transparent and respectful workplace culture. Responsibilities: - Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention and organizational effectiveness, aligning ER practices with broader HR strategies - Serve as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, providing consultative guidance on organizational effectiveness, talent management and change management initiatives - Partner with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development) to align people strategies with business priorities and drive organizational performance - Lead and execute the organization’s employee relations strategy across North America locations - Serve as the senior escalation point for employee relations matters, including investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, privacy and other sen...
