Job Profile Summary Make a difference in the life of a nurse! As a nurse educator, you will work closely with Broward College-Health Sciences Administrators to identify and implement short-term educational strategies designed to strengthen the healthcare sector, while addressing the nursing shortage. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Master’s Degree preferred An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum Experience/Training: Active Florida RN Licensure. Five (5) consecutive years of theoretical and clinical experience in specialty nursing, serving in fulltime capacity. Ability to teach specialty topics to healthcare professionals. Strong management skills required. Essential Functions: Daily - 30%: Teaches in-person courses including theoretical, clinical, and simulation-based instruction, using effective learning strategies, engaging lectures, and innovative/interactive activities. Daily 20%: Executes the programmatic educational plan, ensuring smooth operations of logistics for educational activities.
