Position Summary Description Conducts transmission studies to ensure reliability and support the expansion of the electric transmission system, collaborating with diverse stakeholders that include Florida Reliability Coordinating Council, Seminole members, internal departments, and industry partners. The work includes, but not limited to, power flow analysis, voltage studies, short circuit analysis, and implementation of regulatory reliability standards. Performs studies and analyses that reflect current and future transmission system configurations and recommends upgrades, system modifications and/or expansion to transmission system facilities based on load growth, generation interconnection, and identified reliability needs. The position analyzes data, drafts reports and provides engineering recommendation and works under the technical direction and guidance of more senior engineers. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required.
