Job Summary: Sheridan is seeking an Assistant Press Operator for our Liberty, MO facility for our day shift. 1st shift, 7 am - 3 pm This role involves preparing, operating, and maintaining our web press equipment, ensuring high-quality production and smooth operations. Qualifications: - Opens rolls and inspects them for damage; removes and saves tags; correctly inserts and inflates roll shaft; webs up press from roll-stand to folder; sets web guide sensors to correct paper width. - Sets nip rollers; changes and/or adjusts cut blade, head perf, tucker blades, adjusts and sets workbook perf, folder pins, cutting rubber, spine perf, shear pins, stripping fingers; sets former board and/or diverts compensators to paper size; checks and adjusts chopper for correct fold configuration. - Adjusts paper feed guides to stacker; sets jogger width; sets stacker belt tension; adjusts stacker and table speeds; centers strapping on bundles; sets bundle length; changes strapping reel. - Engages print units and remotes; correctly installs end blocks; hangs blankets; checks water flow to units; sets and ad...
