Analyst I, Inventory Control & Planning POSITION PROFILE: Position is responsible for using Key Process Indicators (KPI's) for monitoring all analysis and planning activities such as fill rates, safety stock, demand and sales fluctuations, lead time, Month on Hand (MOH), inventory dollar, Cost of Sale (COS), etc. to maintain a balance between customer satisfaction and our MOH inventory dollar. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Establish and monitor target inventory levels to effectively balance customer satisfaction with asset control. - Monitor overall key planning inputs such as fill rates, forecast accuracy, safety stock, lead time, excess inventory, in transit inventory, and order execution. - Responsible for inventory dollar purchase patterns, delivery commitments from vendors and develop action plans to resolve issues that impact the achievement of established inventory plans. - Schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers - Analyze inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs. - Familiar with standard concepts, pr...
