Job description

We are seeking an experienced full-time CNC Machinist who will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Equipment to fabricate metal parts. As a CNC Machinist, you will also be assembling and fitting machined components by utilizing expertise in machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, material machinability, and layout techniques. Job Responsibilities: Utilizes sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as the CNC lathes, CNC Mills, and manual equipment Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and programs tool path, depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
