Job description

We are looking for a several Material Handlers to join our team specialising in Manufacturing Logistics for our Cummins Engine Plant in Darlington , United Kingdom. This is a full-time position on a temporary 3-month rolling contract. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rotating 3-shift pattern: - Nights: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am - Days: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm - Backs: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm, and Friday 6:00am – 7:10pm In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. - Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices. - Accurately sort, label, and store goods while arranging storage to optimize warehouse space. - Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. - Pick sequenced kits for and line feed assembly lines. - Operate powered material handling equipment for example forklift trucks. - Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, identifying and repo...
