deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Engineer in Huntsville, Al. Position Description: The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The selected engineer will join the Tactical Equipment Team (TET) to produce systems engineering artifacts including Cameo model development and requirements specifications. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience - Experience using Cameo and DOORS - Strong hardware and software technical background in architecture development, functional decomposition, requirements development and allocation, and interface definition using system-modeling tools - Solid MBSE experience and proficiency with SysML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system Special Skills Desired: Appli...
