Join our Financial Reporting team as a Senior Accountant, in our Home Office in Calgary, AB! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role you will support the financial reporting team across all FYiHealth Group business units in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and assist in any ad hoc projects / tasks as required. What You'll Do: - Prepare general ledger journal entries, including accruals, monthly recurring, and adjusting entries. - Perform general ledger account reconciliations, conducting variance analysis, generating various reports, and interpreting the results. - Prepare and maintain working papers and schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual financials. - Assist in period-end close and reporting. - Assist in the interim and year-end audit process. - Look for opportunities to provide process improvements and efficiencies. - Liaison with other departments, accounting team members, and external parties. - Assess current processes, procedures, internal controls, and making...
