SUMMARY: Maintain levels of quality as established by Director of Hotel Operations and Laundry Supervisor. Assist the Laundry Supervisor when needed in taking on additional responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to, the following: - Take over the responsibilities of the Laundry Supervisor in their absence. - Maintain a high level of workplace safety - Ensure compliance with all Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations - Keep accurate records of all linen that is processed - Ensure maintenance problems in your area are submitted to engineering - Participate in any area of laundry that you are needed - Adhere to personal appearance standards and present a professional image - Ensure departmental compliance with personal appearance standards - Responsible for maintaining strong communication with all areas of the Resort - Good rapport with fellow employees and reflect positive attitude - Accurately complete all assignments requested of you in a timely fashion - Maintain open line of communication with Resort staff - Must be flexible and able to work Monday – Sunday, including holidays.
