Associate Chemist - Fuels, Lubes and Oilfield

Job description

The Role: As the Associate Chemist, reporting to the Director - Application Lab, Fuels, Lubes, Oilfield & Coatings, you will be responsible for running application testing, perform typical characterization, and solving quality control product issues under the direction of a Lead Chemist. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting aspects of development of new products, procedures, and test methods with minimal daily supervision. How You Will Make an Impact: R&D - New Product Development, Product Application Testing, Customer Support Works with a Chemist, Lead Chemist or direct manager to conduct research and develop new products or troubleshoot problems of existing products. Conduct flow assurance and fluid flow separation product application testing for in-house and benchmark products and organize the data in a clear and concise manner which can be deciphered easily for data analytics purposes.
