Eligibility for the post-basic training education is prioritized to applicants with approximately one year recent acute medical/surgical experience. BCIT Emergency Nursing Specialty Program: BCIT On Site Orientation Day: Aug. 13, 2026 BCIT Workshop Days (Paid): Aug. 17, 18, 20, 21, 2026 Exam Days (Paid): Aug. 27 & Nov. 17, 2026 Online Prerequisites: Aug.17 - Nov. 27, 2026 Full-time training at BCIT & practicum locations: Jan. 4, 2027 - Mar. 30, 2027 *course dates will be modified based on previous courses completed.
