We are currently hiring for 3rd shift teammates in our Slitting Department, located in Madison, WI. JOB SUMMARY: Operate the slitter while following customer quality specifications, ensuring dimensions, sizes of rolls, quantity and print quality are accurate. Perform rework/rewinding of rolls with identified defects from primary operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepares finished product to ship according to customer requirements - Monitor and direct the activities of the Slitter Assistant by monitoring their work and advising and/or guiding as needed - Train Slitter Assistant to a comfortable level of proficiency that will allow them to run through breaks and fill-in as an operator as needed - Work with supervision, planning and Quality to get rework completed efficiently - Ensure proper and accurate set up of the machine including...
