System and Network Engineer

Leidos is seeking a System/Network Engineer to support the AIMES mission in our Beavercreek, Ohio office. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in network engineering, virtualization, and systems administration within a mission-focused environment. The AIMES Operations Team is looking for a highly motivated, versatile engineer to maintain and enhance our network infrastructure, virtual environment, and physical servers. This role is ideal for a “jack-of-all-trades” engineer who enjoys autonomy, technical ownership, and the opportunity to manage project infrastructure end-to-end. Primary Responsibilities: - Maintain and support Cisco Nexus switches and routers - Administer VMware ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter environments - Perform Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration - Manage and maintain physical server infrastructure - Ensure system reliability, performance, and security compliance Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of applicable experience.
