Job description

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. One to four years of commercial banking experience, previous SBA 7(a) experience highly desired. Knowledge of lending, credit analysis preferable in a commercial lending environment. Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance. Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks for optimal performance. Excellent communication, relationship building and sales skills. - Take a leadership role in representing the Credit Union to the local small business market to build awareness, brand image, credibility and new business surrounding SBA 7(a) loans. - Strong knowledge of SBA SOPs, program eligibility, credit criteria and loan structure requirements. - Actively participate in community business organizations and events. - Be responsible for generating and servicing SBA loans for small to medium sized business loans. - Contributes to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting additional credit union products. - Requires skills and experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment, loan structuring, credit analysis, and monitoring credit performance. - Aggressively seeks and obtains quality ne...
