Job description

Description Oversees the division planning function, this includes direct supervision of the planning staff and maintaining a strong working relationship with front line Supervisors, relative to planning responsibilities. Responsibilities include ensuring effective job planning, scheduling, communication, preparations, staging, budget/forecasting, runtime forecasting, warehouse storage levels, and reporting. - Directly supervise the division Planners and other planning department staff - Responsible for setting meaningful objectives for the division Planners, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with front line supervisors, monitoring and quality control of planning processes through data measurement, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and procedure, etc. - Instrumental in ensuring that operational excellence is achieved in all maintenance activities - Support the Maintenance Manger’s success in ultimate safe job outcome and overall departmental effectiveness - Apply personal expertise and knowledge while managing planning/scheduling processes to ensure appropriate daily, short term, and long range planning and scheduling techniques are followed and exe...
