Contract manufacturers and contract packagers (collectively, co-packers) are facilities that have extra production capacity and provide their services for a fee to customers (brands). Co-packers play a vital role in the trillion dollar U.S. Food and Beverage (F&B) Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, providing a range of services to convert raw materials into finished goods. These facilities are responsible for blending, drying, baking, frying, forming, and milling raw materials into bottles, pouches, cans, and other packages for our favorite foods and drinks.
