Description POSITION SUMMARY: To operate lining, molding auxiliary equipment assigned by rotation schedule or supervisor. To properly perform order and material changes and lining machine start-ups/shut-downs. To properly perform order changes and shut-downs on molding machines. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Identifies issues, troubleshoot machines to produce quality parts, safely. - Notify mold tech, shift lead or shift supervisor in the event of molding machine irregularities. - Performs order changes: enters startup and shutdown into DelmiaWorks system. - Enters all downtime reason codes into ERP for tracking. - Verifies raw materials comply with work requirements. - Samples and visually inspects production every 30 minutes, document quality inspections hourly, and places product on hold by entering process correction (PCR). - Prepares for color changes; notifies mold tech, lead or supervisor when color change is needed. - Informs supervisor/lead of substandard production quality. - Checks material quality and calls for more materials if necessary. - Checks that all machine sensors, cap-guides and adjustable conveyors are operating properly. - Infor...
