FT Medical Assisting Instructor Job Description: We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to teach in our Medical Assisting program . This is a full- time , professional position reporting directly to the Program Director . The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assistant courses . Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation . Requirements: - Completion of a Medical Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree preferred Certifications: - RMA and/or - CMA and/or - CCMA - At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven - Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience is preferred but not required
