Job description
The opportunity Reporting to the State General Manager - Visy Board VIC/TAS, this role leads the Southern Region sales function, responsible for approximately two-thirds of divisional revenue. You will lead a team of 3 direct reports and ~30 indirect reports across Metro Melbourne, regional Southern Victoria and Tasmania. This is a key leadership role focused on driving profitable growth, strengthening customer relationships and executing regional sales strategy. As part of the VIC/TAS leadership team, you will contribute to strategic direction, commercial performance and continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities: - Lead regional sales performance to achieve revenue, margin and growth targets - Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned to business objectives - Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships across the region - Negotiate commercial agreements to deliver profitable, mutually beneficial outcomes - Lead, coach and develop a distributed sales team to drive performance and capability - Partner with Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain to deliver customer outcomes - Manage core sales processes including debtors, inventory, p...
