Position Summary: - Responsible for delivering appropriate education and training to SIH Medical Group nursing and clinical staff and assessing competency for general clinical skills and specialty protocols designed for expected standards of care. Education: - Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN Preferred) or - Licensed Practical Nurse required if not ADN Licenses and Certification: - Current Illinois Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license - BLS Experience and Skills: - Technical Field: 5 years as a Registered Nurse, LPN Role Specific Responsibilities: - Develop and administer orientation and onboarding for new nursing and clinical staff for the SIH Medical Group - Assess and document annual and ongoing training and competency requirements for SIH Medical Group nursing and clinical staff - Proactively identify and respond to needs of the SIH Medical Group to promote quality patient care and safety - Deliver competency-based programs for nursing and support staff with a focus upon improvement of skills and retention of knowledge - De...
