WDAF-TV in Kansas City has an unpaid News Internship available for qualified students studying broadcast journalism, video production, and other communication degrees. Area of interest could include: News Producing, News Reporting, News Production and Digital News Requirements & Skills: o Must receive college credit o Possess strong communication skills o Flexible in learning a variety of assignments and tasks o A collaborative worker with a willingness to learn o Priority will be given to college juniors and seniors Internship Details: o Each internship is for 16-24 hours per week for up to 12 weeks, depending on requirements for credit. (Dates are May 2026-August 2026) o Shifts could include early mornings, days, or nights. o Students will be supervised by an appropriate news manager and participate in a meaningful learning experience. o This is an unpaid internship, and the student is not entitled to wages or any compensation or benefits for the time spent in the internship.
