This is a second shift role. Second shift benefits include a $1 shift premium, a paid lunch, and an additional week of vacation. Second shift hours are 1pm-9pm with the possibility of overtime. Job Summary: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling machine(s) and machine parts according to specifications. Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job: - Reads and follows entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion. - Measures parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers. - Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures. - Operate material handling equipment. - Maintains a clean work area.
