Overview The Social Worker II provides clinical social work services to students and their families and develops Mental Health Individual Education Program (IEP) goals and implements those goals as outlined. The incumbent serves as a social work role and training model to graduate social work and counseling trainees and interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities: - Provides social work services to students, including psychosocial assessment and treatment/interventions, including but not limited to individual and group therapy, case management services and family therapy if needed. - Participates in interdisciplinary school committees. - Provides appropriate documentation according to departmental guidelines, including but not limited to required Individual Education Program (IEP) documentation, progress notes, and psychosocial assessments. Collaborates with team to develop Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavioral Intervention Plans, and reports for outside agencies. - Functions effectively within a multidisciplinary team by advocating for client needs; participating actively in team plans; and using clear, concise, and assertive communication in written and oral form. -...
