WELCOME TO BASF: You will join the Technical Application Center at BASF Italia’s Pontecchio Marconi site, working within the Analytical Laboratory dedicated to the qualification of plastic products. This role offers strong exposure to an international environment, with close technical and scientific collaboration with BASF laboratories worldwide and ongoing interaction with Technical Experts within the Global Marketing & Development organization. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: - Independently operate key instrumental analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, IR, and UV‑Vis spectroscopy. Knowledge of NMR and elemental analysis is considered an advantage. - Carry out routine analytical testing on plastic materials from both customers and internal production, supporting customer service activities and project development. - Perform in‑depth investigative analyses, benchmarking, and reverse‑engineering activities, including the evaluation of new competitor additives, in close cooperation with other BASF laboratories. - Prepare clear, accurate, and scientifically robust analytical reports, effectively presenting and discussing results with internal stakeholders. - Plan and coordinate analytical...
