Assistant Director of Accounting 260003M2 Description The Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking applicants for the Assistant Director of Accounting. This is a key departmental fiscal position responsible to ensure that all technical accounting aspects support the business of the department. The Assistant Director of Accounting is responsible for managing the Department’s federal grant application process including but not limited to completing the application, submitting timely and accurate reports required by the federal awarding authority, and ensuring the successful closing out of the grant. The Assistant Director also is responsible for approving purchases made by DMH through the Commonwealth internet solicitation system COMMBUYS and payments through MOSAIC . The incumbent also will be responsible for querying financial reports through the Commonwealth Information Warehouse (CIW) to ensure the accuracy of the Departments financial reporting.
