Description Summary: Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is looking for energetic, fun, organized, and caring staff to provide memorable experiences to girls in a safe and engaging Summer Camp environment! Lake Rickabear Day Camp sits on 332 acres of land including a beautiful 40-acre, spring-fed lake, perfect for swimming, pedal boating, paddle boarding, and row boating. The Boating Manager will provide campers with organized and educational waterfront programs in a safe manner. Programs include swimming classes, boating classes and free swim periods. Immediate Supervisor: Waterfront Director: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Lead in oversight of boating activities as needed. · Ensure smooth and efficient boat handling, docking, and launching procedures. · Responsible for keeping the entire beach and boating area clean. · Responsible for the care and maintenance of waterfront equipment. · Maintain a safe and clean environment for boats and campers. · Supervise and train staff, including lifeguards, unit leaders, and counselors. · Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards. · Attend all sessions required of position at Pre-Camp Orientation...
