PSV Shift Engineer / Working Chargehand Location: Grays Garage: Arriva is looking for a skilled and motivated PSV Shift Engineer / Working Chargehand to join our engineering team at our Grays garage . This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer ready to take the next step into a leadership role while remaining hands-on. What you’ll be doing: - Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a modern fleet of buses - Supporting and supervising engineers on shift - Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards - Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions - Assisting with shift planning and workshop organisation What we’re looking for: - Proven experience working with PSV/HGV vehicles - Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred) - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills - Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment - A proactive, team-focused attitude What we offer: If you’re ready to take on a key role in keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently, we’d love to hear from you.
