Description Union Electric Steel Corporation is seeking a MAINTENANC SUPERINTENDENT E for our Carnegie, PA manufacturing plant. Job Summary: Manages all aspects of Maintenance and Labor Department activities, including workflow scheduling and personnel. Maintains effective quality procedures and ensures a safe and efficient working environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Establishes maintenance schedules, weekly personnel schedules, and labor requirements to achieve plant goals and objectives. · Reviews and analyzes production and maintenance history reports to identify operating concerns, determine equipment maintenance trends, and develop improved maintenance methods to increase efficiency and reduce downtime and equipment failures. · Responsible for selection and mentoring of front line supervisory staff. · Determines critical repair parts requirements in order to maintain necessary inventory levels for productivity. · Ensures adherence to/compliance with company policies, rules and regulations relating to safety/health, operating procedures, processes, and training requirements. · Maintains maintenance and calibration records to meet ISO Standards. · Collaborates...
