POSITION SUMMARY: The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all members and guests in and around aquatic facilities. This position requires continuous surveillance, enforcement of safety policies, emergency response readiness, and professional member interaction. Lifeguards serve as safety leaders and represent the highest standards of aquatic supervision and operational excellence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain constant visual surveillance of assigned zones. - Prevent accidents through proactive rule enforcement and member education. - Recognize and respond effectively to aquatic and non-aquatic emergencies. - Activate and execute the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) when necessary. - Perform water rescues, CPR, AED use, and First Aid within certification scope. - Clear pool and deck during lightning or severe weather protocols. - Conduct daily safety inspections of aquatic areas and equipment. - Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment. - Complete accurate and timely incident and accident reports. - Communicate professionally with members, guests, and team members. - Attend and successfully complete required in-service tra...
