Job description

Overview Summary: Maintains and operates pipeline assets including, but not limited to valve manifolds, pig launchers and receivers, and control and pump stations. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Maintains and operates custody transfer measurement facilities and performs product quality control tests. - Locates pipelines as needed and oversees excavations and line crossings. - Launches and receives cleaning pigs and assists with the launch and receiving of smart pigs. - Installs pipeline markers and does routing inspections on right of way. - Maintains and operates corrosion control equipment. - Attends and participates in damage prevention meetings. - Interfaces with various landowners including private, state, and federal agencies. - Maintains knowledge of current environmental regulations and company policies. - Meets requirements of Company Operator Qualification Program, performs identified tasks and remains compliant. - Attends training programs on a continual basis, including computer based training. - Attends all safety meeting and safety training courses as required by the company and regulatory...
