Schedule: Part-Time | 12 hours per week About Us - Admit Discharge: Located inside Freeman West, the Admitting and Discharge Lounge (ADL) is a place where patients can go to wait for a bed assignment, wait for a ride home upon discharge, and receive outpatient infusions and treatments. Our Admit/Discharge Team responds to requests for help with admissions, discharges, and other tasks on the inpatient nursing units. The Admit/Discharge team has helped to improve patient flow, improve efficiency on the nursing units, and reduce overall wait times. The Admit Discharge Lounge is staffed with nurses and nurse technicians who effectively communicate and provide excellent patient care. Open Monday-Friday 6:30am –10pm ; Saturday-Sunday 6:30am - 7:00pm What You’ll Do: Works with Admissions, Bed Control, and Direct Call in the appropriate placement of direct admit patients, completing nursing assessment, and monitoring patients until taken to the nursing unit.
