About the role In this role, you will lead a specialist transport planning team delivering strategic projects, policy development and network coordination initiatives that support safe, sustainable and efficient movement across the municipality. You will provide expert engineering advice, manage complex transport projects and stakeholder relationships, and help shape the future planning and management of the City’s transport network. Work type: Permanent Full-time: Classification: Band 8 $125,701 plus super Key responsibilities include: - Maintain and facilitate the delivery of the department's vision by communicating it effectively to lead the unit. - Motivate the team to deliver on the strategic goals, by translating and making the goals accessible and relevant to the team members for operational success. - Undertake a mentoring/coaching role that shares technical knowledge and experience with respect to transport planning and policy, with other engineers. - Develop and deliver the unit’s annual Business Plans in line with the Directorate’s Strategy, balancing value for our community and customers, within financial and resource constraints. - Facilitate a customer first culture i...
