Job description
If you are planning to advance your career in the direction of electrochemical energy storage with 2D materials in focus, then this postdoc position at DTU Energy might be for you. MXenes are a new class of two-dimensional materials discovered around 14 years ago. It is the graphene analogue for MAX phases. MAX phases are a class of ceramic materials with pseudo-ductility whereas MXenes are a special class of materials which offers versatile combination of properties from electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, electromagnetic shielding to energy conversion. As 2D materials, MXenes offer the possibility of tunable interlayer spacing, providing unique opportunities for design and functionalization. This feature enables tailored properties for specific applications. The field of MXene research is rapidly expanding, presenting researchers with numerous exciting opportunities to make groundbreaking discoveries and contribute to cutting-edge advancements. It offers the platform for inter-disciplinary research where materials scientists, physicists, chemists, engineers, and other specialists can contribute as a team. Responsibilities and qualifications: The position entails the syn...
