Test Lab Supervisor

Job description

The Test Lab Supervisor Engineering Technician is responsible for the coordination and implementation of engineering technician best practices and procedures while participating in the verification and validation activities related to mining trucks. They are responsible for scheduling and task management of all activities in the R&D Test Lab. This includes daily task prioritization and delegation, adherence to schedules, and management of team members who participate in Testing. Additionally, they perform at a working level as an Engineering Technician with approximately a 50/50% ratio between supervisor responsibility and Engineering Technician responsibility. Responsibilities: - Light Vehicle fleet Maintenance - Test Lab and Test Fixture Maintenance - 3HA warehouse inventory and transaction expediting - Hardware In Loop test stand Maintenance and updates - Trains or mentors Engineering Technicians on procedures, proper use of data acquisition hardware and sensors, and general truck operation and safety. - Acts as the skilled Technician for the test lab in at least one specialized area of test and measurement data acquisition such as hydraulics, noise/vibration, or electrical cont...
