Department: Emergency Department: Shift/schedule: Full Time (36 hrs/wk), Night Shift GENERAL SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse reports to the Manager. The RN's primary job function is to develop and coordinate nursing care in conjunction with other health professionals and in accordance with physician's treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and wellbeing of patients. Assesses patients' condition, administers prescribed medications, provides treatments, observes patients' progress, records pertinent observations, and reports reactions to medications and treatments. Supports each Strategic Value by providing excellent care to those we serve. Works with other disciplines/ancillary services in the care they provide. Education: Licensure: Experience: - High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required - RN(OH) required - BLS within 90 days of hire required - ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire required - Relevant experience preferred JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND PERFORMA...
