Laboratory Supervisor

Overview The Technology and Innovation (T&I) organization within Celanese is hiring a Laboratory Supervisor for the Evansville manufacturing site. This role will be the administrative lead for the quality control lab, overseeing a team of seven. The Laboratory Supervisor will engage directly with the Evansville leadership team, manufacturing operations, and technicians to ensure seamless workflow, adherence to standards, and consistent delivery of high-quality results. Additionally, the Supervisor will join a global network of other Supervisors within the T&I organization to promote standard work processes, best practices and improvements related to laboratories. Responsibilities: - Ensure current safety and work processes are implemented and effective. - Collect and review laboratory data. Make improvements based on laboratory performance metrics. - Work directly with site leadership team to resolve laboratory testing, staffing or quality concerns. - Lead and investigate laboratory related Incidents / Variances/ Customer Complaints (Conduct Problem Solving Sessions – Root Cause Failure Analysis). - Lead and participate in laboratory improvement projects. - Promote a positive and i...
