Terms and Conditions apply** The Surgical Technologist II (operating room scrub technician) sets up sterile field, gathers supplies for surgical cases, based on knowledge of instruments and equipment to be used. This position passes instruments to surgeons during surgery. This position also performs count procedures per policy during surgical cases. The Surgical Technologist II serves as a resource and preceptor to less experienced Surgical Technologists and takes call for routine and high acuity cases after orientation period. This role also learns, performs and completes assignments/responsibilities assigned during the transitional duty period. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Registered by the State Board of Medicine and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) or Certified Operating Room or Surgical Technician (CORST) certification.
