About the Team DoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager with a ML background to lead the Search Quality engineering team. This team is responsible for the quality of the overall Search results on Doordash and the various layers of multi-stage ranking, and multi-modal retrieval and query understanding enabling it. Our Search Quality team is a part of our Core Consumer org which owns the top of the conversion funnel from the initial landing page all the way to checkout across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. Quality is at the center of the Search teams’ mission. With a universal Search bar on the home page, as Doordash expands into new verticals like Grocery, the challenge of helping consumers easily find what they want grows exponentially, so the opportunity is massive!
