The work involves such activities as coordination of patient flow, appointments, and electronic medical record administration. The incumbent must be able to use independent judgment and initiative as well as interact professionally with clients, staff, and the public. Coordinates client’s check-in/out process for clinics/programs at the Osceola County Health Department such as assessing client’s needs and completing demographic information for new and existing clients. Responsible for collecting required documentation to determine initial and continuing eligibility, updating financial and insurance information, scheduling appointments per clinic guidelines and collecting applicable fees.
