Electrical Engineer I

Job description

Zachry Group is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Engineer I Electrical to apply general electrical engineering design practices while working with a Lead Engineer for guidance and detailed supervision. Will perform non-routine and complex assignments involving assigned task with assistance from Senior Engineers as required. Will have the ability to select and adapt plans, techniques, designs, and coordinate the work with the project team members for a successful design. With assistance will review, analyze, and integrate the technical requirements and design approaches for the project. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. - Work within a multidiscipline team to develop designs on small and large projects. - Ability to read and follow Customer design documents. - Assist Lead Engineer to develop budget requirements (i.e., time and materials) for proposed projects. - Work with estimating team to assist in material and equipment estimates. - Participate in the development of construction/installation work packages. - Coordinate design and engineering activities with other engineering mechanical and civil engineering disci...
