Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

PAY: ($25 - $34.00) + $3,000 Sign & Stay Bonus 3rd: 9:00PM - 5:30 AM BENEFITS: Available first day of hire PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveying systems/types of industrial equipment for poultry processing plant. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance using blueprints and diagrams to verify that all equipment is operating within required specifications and tolerances. May perform periodic testing and inspections, troubleshooting and repairs. Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: - Under general supervision, repair and perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery (i.e. mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveying systems, etc) using blueprint and schematic drawings to ensure equipment is performing safely to required specifications - Identify root cause of basic mechanical issues and performs repairs by welding, fabricating parts, basic pipefitting or replacing defective component; notify appropriate personnel if further attent...
