ROLE : The role will fabricate, assemble, and repair aerospace components and subassemblies in accordance with approved designs and regulatory requirements . ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. - Fabricate and assemble sheet metal aircraft components and subassemblies per approved drawings, specifications, and procedures. - Operate fabrication equipment, including shears, brakes, presses, rollers, and hand/power tools. - Perform inspections on fabricated components to verify conformance to dimensional tolerances and quality standards. - Repair or modify sheet metal parts in compliance with design approvals and FAA regulations. - Utilize precision tools to perform structural repairs and modifications to exacting standards in accordance with provided technical data. - Utilize mechanical and hand blending techniques of major structural components using high speed gri...
